Mathias and the Pirates

Mathias and the Pirates

Mathias and the Pirates formed in 2012 from the ashes of STL hip-hop heavyweights Earthworms and Grea Tones. Five years, two albums and countless shows later, The Pirates have their own firm ground to stand on in the action packed St. Louis music landscape, flying the flag of the mighty Far Fetched Collective everywhere they go. They've shared stages and recording booths with legends, and they never miss an opportunity to showcase their brand of genre defying hip-hop to crowds who may not find themselves at too many hip-hop shows. A new EP produced by DJ Crucial is on the way, featuring the song they've chosen to perform at Lo-Fi Cherokee.

Anthony Lucius

Anthony Lucius

Anthony Lucius has an assured, rapid flow that is as key to his band’s rhythm as the drums. This Illinois-based emcee makes good use of live instrumentation. Featuring members: [Jasmine Scott - Violin, Justin 'Chops' - Keys, Sebo Lee - Bass, Travis Scott III - Saxophone, RT-FAQ - Drums, Michael Franco - Guitar] — The hip-hop band injects suggestions of jazz & funk that fit nicely with their dark and resilient tone. Gearing up for his debut commercial release, 'Welcome To St. Lucius' will be available, April 21, 2017.

Bagheera

Bagheera

A dynamic indie-rock three piece, Bagheera began as the experimental recording project of Theodore and Heather Moll. Over the years, the band has gone through several incarnations, until 2014 when Julie Gibbs joined on bass guitar. This spring, Bagheera releases their second album, “Shooting Rockets Towards the Sun”, the follow up to their 2003 Asian Man Records release, “Twelves”.

The Conformists

The Conformists

The Conformists write their own bio. We don't even pretend not to. We want to tell you all the things that will convince you that our records are fantastic and that we are talented, handsome fellows with above average vocabularies but we are not going to. We write songs that we really like. We record albums with our favorite engineer, we release the album on the labels run by our biggest supporters and friends, and we are happy with the results. It doesn't really matter how long we have been together or who we have played with or what other bands members of this band have played in. Thanks.

The Vigilettes

The Vigilettes

A south city based quartet that references the pep and aggression of 1990s alternative rock. Each member contributes liberally to the construction of their debut album 4, 3, 2, 1!

The Gaslight Squares

The Gaslight Squares

The Gaslight Squares are a Traditional Jazz band based in St. Louis, MO. Led by T.J Muller on cornet (previously of Pokey Lafarge), The Gaslight Squares are dedicated to preserving and performing live traditional Jazz in St. Louis. Whilst the core of the band is a quartet (T.J on Cornet, Jacob Alspach on banjo, Matt Sellers on the Piano and Jon Weiss on Tuba) the group also varies its sound by including other local musicians, old and young. Local favorite and accomplished Cornet player Bill Mason regularly performs with ‘The Squares’ and recently recorded an album with them, adding to a personal discography stretching over 60 years.

Steven Deeds

Steven Deeds

Steven Deeds is often compared to Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver & Jeff Buckley. But, while many artists focus solely on creating their "sound", Steven Deeds' dreamy, shoegazey folk focuses, first, on telling great stories. The sound of each song, then, become an aid in the digestion of the story, rather than a sprinkled on afterthought. This, paired with intuitive & emotive live performances, means you're guaranteed to experience something powerfully intimate, and unique, every time.

Aiko Tsuchida

Aiko Tsuchida

Vice President Mike Pence loves to take Aiko Tsuchida's girldick. He refers to her as "Mother" during this act of pure hatefucking, and she always makes sure he licks her bowl clean.
