I doubt that anyone is reading this much yet. But if you are things are going to be a little messy around here for a while. I'm trying to figure out this podcasting thing. Which I thought would be much easier with this Wordpress blogging software. Which is very good, but I'm discovering that Podcasting is not really high on their agenda right now.But in case you're wondering, here is what I'm doing: This blog will be the home of the Lo-Fi Saint Louis podcast and blog. I have video taped many bands playing live in St. Louis and needed a place to share them so I thought what the hell, why not podcast them. Well of course the main thing that most people think of when they hear "podcasting" is audio (actually most people I know just think 'what the fuck?!?' when I say Podcasting, but for the sake of argument I'm only talking about people who KNOW what it is.) So anyway about audio podcasting. Well I plan to do that too. But right now I don't think that it will be a straight ahead 'playing radio on the internet' podcast, but mainly audio interview tracks from the videos, and some "podsafe" tracks from the bands I feature. So basically you can subscribe to the Podcast, listen to the interviews I did with whatever band and listen to some of their music. And if you like it you can come here, see some video of them live and check out the links to where you can see them/hear them/buy their music. At least that's the plan right now.So that's it. Keep checking back and hopefully I'll have something worthwhile up soon.
