I’m not up on these bands- although I’ve got a few Uncle Tupelo and early Wilco albums. Looking forward to your vloggercon 2006 attendance. Are you doing a Powerpoint presentation?
Comments are “closed” on the Dempseys program, so I leave my Dempseys comments here:
Al is back. Wahoo!
Them Dempseys is somethin, but they need ta play some more notes in less time, cuz there’s not nuff time the world ta lsten ta such good players. Lets git more Dempseys on LOFI, evn if ya have ta go ta east st. louis ta git it.
That’s so punk. The McCarthy video made no sense, good stuff.
Nudity, dysfunction and distruction.
Extra points for pop cultural references.
Like the two narrators, very Mystery Science theatre… the second I think is just you, your voice. Doesn’t need much narration but it does help hold intrest with longer videos… to know what’s comming up and such.
First of all I wanna say “Good Job”. Just found this site, and its a hell of a lot fun.
Second comes my shout out to everyone who likes Bob Log III (the third, not three btw) and his crazy as fuck “Band”. Go to a live show if you get the chance.. REALLY, its worth it.
Oh and can someone refresh my mind on what the movie is called that the Guitar Wolf video scenes are taken from? I’ve seen it some years ago, but cant remember the name at all…
But I feel like watching it again, in memorial of thee loudest band ever, Guitar Wolf! RIP Billy! You where the nicest Jet R’n'R Bassists I have ever known.
LO-FI SAINT LOUIS is an Internet video program and blog, produced and created by Bill Streeter featuring live music and features about interesting people places and things in the St. Louis area. The story of how this got started and who is behind it is probably not all that interesting but if you're really curious you can read more about it here. You can get LO-FI SAINT LOUIS in you favorite video player including iTunes (click to subscribe) and Miro. Our RSS feeds are here.
