I caught this band at their CD release party a couple of weeks ago. They’re actually making a comeback of sorts from about a year off from the music scene. They’ll be touring around the Midwest — check their MySpace page for tour dates.

Jon Hardy and the Public is the best band I have seen in years that I haven’t payed 75 bucks or more to go see (and I would pay that to see them). Their style, presentation and performance is effective. Not just for the twenty something’s but all ages can be moved and move to Jon Hardy and the Public. Go see them. You will feel great after one of their shows. It is just good. It is not too loud, the singer has great diction and the music is crisp. http://www.myspace.com/jonhardy
