Steve’s wrong. I know Pokey too. Sure his outfit is chosen, not just thrown together and I’m still working on what mama names her boy “Pokey”, but he is true to his way and to his music. Now as far as “pure” is concerned, after a few drinks “purity” is purely relative.

Just so you know, I know this guy, and everything he does is fake and calculated. There is nothing pure about it, which is the sad thing.

Bill… This was great. A mix of Delta Blues and the “hot jazz” that was popular in France from the late 20s to WWII. And it kind of goes well with your piece on the Carolina Chocalte Drops. Good stuff!
