Early films, interviews, and performances from Lo-Fi Saint Louis. A record of the people and places captured along the way.
Lo-Fi began as an experiment at a time when online video was still in its infancy. Before YouTube became ubiquitous, we were learning how to encode video and manually embed it into websites, experimenting with techniques and practices that would eventually become standard in online video and vlogging. This archive documents those early efforts, beginning with videos published in 2005, including footage originally shot in 2003 and 2004.
Most of these videos were captured by a small crew that included Bill Streeter, Bowls MacLean, Jeff “Kopper” Kopp, Trent Hover and occasional interns. Bill Streeter produced and edited.
