Thor Axe is the triumphant metal prog rock side project for an indie band called So Many Dynamos. If you dig bands like Yes, Thin Lizzy and Europe you might really dig this. Me? Prog rock is not my bag. Although I kinda dig So Many Dynamos, so hopefully I’ll be able to get out and shoot them for LO-FI when they start playing out regularly again. And go check out the hilarious interview with these guys that I shot for the Riverfront Times on the A to Z Blog. They’re doing an entire week of So Many Dynamos stuff over there where you can get mp3’s so you can hear what these guys sound like in their other life. The video interview should be posted some time on Thursday August 23, so if its not there now it will be.

Dude, these guys sound nothing like Thin Lizzy. Remind me to play some for ya sometime. Not sure where you got that Thin Lizzy’s prog rock… ’70s hard rock/metal, maybe, yeah, but they didn’t enter into that prog/art rock area at all. Sorry, just couldn’t let that one go.
