#170 Left Arm
Posted on: June 20, 2007
Left Arm are from Edwardsville, Ill., and they play rock ‘n’ roll influenced by The Heartbreakers, AC/DC, The Sonics, The Stooges, The Shadows of Knight, MC5, The Animals, Zeke, Motorhead, Fatal Flying Guilloteens, The Oblivians, Bantam Rooster among others. This is a performance that I caught at the Atomic Cowboy. This is some fast, sweaty, loud, boozed-out, garage punk rock n’ roll.

They may be influenced by all those other bands, but they sound like an amped-up version of Dead Moon! Love those guys. Great song, too!
That Jason Poter could be the next Don Henley! Er, PUNK Don Henley, that is… Shit, I was I had made this show.
Thanks Bill! The video’s totally sweet.
I look like sort sort or rabid monster.
Always a kick ass, hot-n-sweaty, boozed up time…Love the new 3-piece incarnation of LA!
These guys kick ass! Nice left arm, Bill.
Jason Potter is my hero. And it’s not just the sunglasses.
Cool video. LA just keeps getting better.
Love the drummer!
Hey you guys…nice clip.
J. see you’re still wearing those sunglasses at night!
Cheers!
Wow! Thanks for posting this Bill….I think this was my second show with the band so I was still getting my bearings after not having played live for many years.
By the way, I just finished looking around lofistl and what you’re doing here is really technically ahead of anyone else I am aware of. YOU KICK ASS!!!
Great! Love the drummer! So who’s Joe Stumble now? I need to know.
