#13 Bleed!!

OK I really dig this band. Every show is just balls to the wall! From Milwaukee Wisconsin it’s Bleed!

This is a video experiment I did about a year or so ago. I had all these digital photos that I had taken of them at a place here in St. Louie called The Wayout Club and was thinking how cool it would have been to have some video of that performance–because it was so kick ass. So I got to thinking, did I have enough photos to make a compelling video with just stills… like a slide show on speed, or Ken Burns on crack? I think it was a worthy experiment. The song is called FIST and it’s from the MuSick recordings release “Motor Psycho.”

Hi Bill!… I always liked this. Great use of still images in a “Ken Burns on meth” fast pan style along with some video copped from a 70’s drug scare film. Even without a video camera, this is a great job of editing… and the song is one of BLEED’s better. Does BLEED still exist? Anything new from them?

            Awesome video Bill!

Bob: Bleed’s still around, but they haven’t put out anything since Motor Psycho (unless there’s some singles I don’t know about). They still play here in Milwaukee about once a month, and I try to catch them every time because they’re always amazing.
